Have you ever had a professional bra fitting? If you have, how long ago was it? If you are post breast augmentation, you will obviously need to be fit for new bras that fit your new body.
The team at Jacksonville’s Coastal Cosmetic Center spoke with Terri Lavallee, Lingerie Business Manager at Dillard’s at St. Johns Town Center, to find out why you need a custom bra fitting and how to get one!
Terri Lavallee: At least once a year. Surprisingly, eight out of 10 women are wearing the wrong size and or style of bra.
Terri Lavallee: Each woman’s shape of the breast is different. A professional fitter not only measures the client but she selects bras based on the shape of the breast . Ask yourself: Are my straps slipping? Is my bra riding up my back? Is it uncomfortable? If you can answer yes to any of these, you are in the wrong size bra.
Terri Lavallee:
Terri Lavallee: Visit a Dillard’s store and ask for a certified fitter. If you are a wellness client in Jacksonville please come to the St. John’s Town Center location. A wellness client is someone that has had a mastectomy or lumpectomy and needs a prosthesis or balance form fitting. Wellness fittings are only at the St. John’s Town Center location.
Terri Lavallee: An appointment is best so you can get the fitter you desire. It is not a requirement.
Terri Lavallee: Use a fitter and try the bra on. Each vendor is different so do not assume the fit is the same.
