When you get blepharoplasty surgery, your plastic surgeon will typically need to create small incisions in order to gain access to the eyelid tissues. Once the procedure is complete and your eyelids are on their way to looking their best, your surgeon will usually need to close the incisions with stitches after an eye lift.
Any medical stitches will be removed in anywhere from three days to one week from the blepharoplasty procedure. If dissolvable stitches were used to close the incision(s), they will dissolve in the same period of time; you will not need to get them removed.
