Dr. Bilezikian is a Plastic Surgeon who is known for his passion of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. His primary areas of expertise are in Cosmetic procedures involving Breast enhancement, Facial rejuvenation, and Body contouring. He dedicates his time to ensuring each patient’s unique needs and aesthetic goals are met with the highest standards of modern advanced Plastic Surgery techniques.
In order to accomplish these goals, he offers his expertise in many procedures including: Breast Augmentation with “Gummy Bear”, Silicone Gel, or Saline Implants, Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Breast Reduction, “Tummy Tuck” (Abdominoplasty), “Mommy Makeover”, Liposuction, Facelift, Neck Lift, Eyelid Surgery (Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty), Brow Lift, “Nose Job” (Rhinoplasty), Chin Implant Surgery (Genioplasty), Ear Pinning Surgery (Otoplasty), Botox and Dermal Fillers, 360 Liposuction, Arm Lift (Brachioplasty), and Thigh Lift (Thighplasty). Prior to Medical School, Dr. Bilezikian worked at The Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) as a Research Assistant and then in The Mayo Clinic Jacksonville Emergency Department as a Nurse Assistant. He then earned his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) from The Florida State University College of Medicine, where a strong foundation was established in surgery.
Following Medical School, Dr. Bilezikian completed a rigorous and comprehensive General Surgery Residency at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, which is affiliated with The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in Wilmington, North Carolina. During his 5 years in training, he performed over 2,000 major surgical operations ranging from minutes in length to surgeries that lasted 16 hours long. He also published numerous papers that are published in peer reviewed journals and presented these topics at conferences across the country.
Despite his aptitude for General and Trauma Surgery, he was drawn to complete specialized training in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bilezikian was selected to join a prestigious Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was trained by Plastic Surgeons who have decades of experience in modern and advanced Plastic Surgery techniques. Over the course of performing thousands of additional surgeries, he refined the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery skills necessary to help achieve patient’s goals with outstanding results.
His excellence as both a plastic surgeon and compassionate physician led to his nomination and acceptance into the prestigious Alpa Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
When he is not operating, Dr. Bilezikian enjoys being at the beach, surfing, fishing, hot yoga, and grilling.
