How Much Does an Arm Lift Cost?

Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) in Jacksonville & Fleming Island, FLNot concerned about surgery, but more concerned about the bill? You’re not alone. Most of our patients say that the biggest deterrent they face when considering plastic surgery is the cost. Today, we’re going to clear things up and get transparent about the overall cost of your arm lift surgery. It’s time to stop fretting about the cost and time to start looking at the bigger picture.

What is the Average Cost of an Arm Lift?

If you’ve looked up the average cost of an arm lift, you’ve probably seen this number. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of an arm lift in 2018 was about $4,482. It’s important to keep in mind that this does not reflect the total price of your procedure because it doesn’t take into account important fees like your anesthesia fees or facility fees. A more realistic idea of what you can expect to pay for your brachioplasty is closer to $6,000 to $9,000.

What’s Included in the Cost of an Arm Lift?

As we mentioned earlier, the cost of your procedure is more than you think because it includes so many different services that go along with your surgery. Let’s break down the cost of your treatment and the fees that may be added to the total cost of your arm lift.
Surgeon’s fees. This fee goes directly to your surgeon for performing your brachioplasty. This price will increase with the experience and accreditation your surgeon has, so it’s important not to skimp out on this part of your bill.
Anesthesia fees. This fee goes towards your anesthesia medication and the anesthesiologist required to administer that medication, so you stay comfortable during your procedure.
Facility fees. This fee goes towards the operating space and materials required to perform your arm lift, in addition to the pre- and post-operative nursing staff that will help you through your procedure.
Post-surgical garments. These compression garments are specially designed to reduce the amount of swelling you may experience following your brachioplasty, as well as help your skin heal properly against your arm’s new contours.
